Taipei specialty coffee brand (beanroom) collaborates with Danish luxury audio brand Bang & Olufsen to create an immersive journey where coffee, music, architecture, and design come together.

Located in Da’an District, Taipei, (beanroom) continues to redefine the specialty coffee experience through sensory storytelling. In collaboration with the century-old Danish audio brand Bang & Olufsen (B&O), (beanroom) presents “Resonance In The Room: Sound & Aroma”, a limited-time experience exploring the relationship between sound, flavor, and space.

Following the previous sensory journeys “Landscape Flavor Journey” and “A Poetic Journey to the Lake,” (beanroom) introduces its latest immersive coffee tasting experience — “The Whisper of A Volcano.”

Inspired by the energy and transformation of volcanic landscapes, this experience combines specialty coffee, curated music, and B&O’s acoustic craftsmanship to tell a story of awakening, movement, and silence.

During the collaboration period, (beanroom)’s award-winning coffee space transforms into a Nordic-inspired sound landscape.

Featuring four iconic Bang & Olufsen speakers — Beosound A9, Beosound 2, Beosound Balance, and Beosound A5 — the space invites visitors to experience how music, architectural design, and coffee aroma interact.

Known for its acoustic precision and timeless Scandinavian design, Bang & Olufsen brings together aluminum craftsmanship, premium textiles, and sculptural forms to create a unique listening environment.

For this collaboration, B&O specially created an exclusive Beosound A9 Volcano Edition speaker cover, transforming the circular speaker into a visual interpretation of volcanic landscapes — a meeting point between sound, design, and nature.

Inspired by (beanroom)’s signature Volcano Blend, this immersive coffee experience presents three different interpretations of one coffee profile.

Together with Bang & Olufsen’s sound experience, each drink represents a different stage of a volcano’s transformation:

Chapter I｜Awakening 
Volcano Pour-Over Coffee

Before the eruption, the volcano begins to breathe.

The journey begins with a carefully brewed hot pour-over coffee, revealing the original character of the Volcano Blend.

Notes of roasted wood, earthy depth, and warm sweetness create a powerful yet balanced beginning.

Paired with deep bass and atmospheric rock music, the soundscape recreates the feeling of standing near a slowly awakening volcano.

Passage II｜Mist 
Volcano Coffee with Boring Oat Milk

As the volcano releases its first breath, mist rises through the landscape.

Using oat milk from New Zealand brand Boring, this coffee creation balances the intensity of coffee with a smooth and gentle texture.

The combination reflects the contrast of volcanic energy — powerful yet calm, intense yet peaceful.

Ritual III｜Silence 
Iced Irish Coffee（3% vol.）
