Making Blends the Star: Enriching the Essence of Coffee through Multisensory Experiences
(beanroom) incorporates the concept of a journey as an essential element of its coffee products, using coffee to express various "Gustatory Landscapes." We have launched six unique blends, each representing different flavor landscapes. One such blend, "Taipei Vibes," stands out with its contrasting flavors of #spices, #braised pork rice, and #fruity acidity, reflecting the multicultural and diverse image of Taipei. The taste is unforgettable. Each blend comes with a 30-minute playlist curated by professional music platform "Musicians’ Nest," aiming to create a multisensory journey where changes in taste are accompanied by auditory atmosphere, inviting consumers to embark on their own imaginative voyages.

We are also offering 16 distinct single-origin coffee beans, representing a wide range of coffee-growing regions worldwide, including local farms from Nantou, Chiayi, and Pingtung in Taiwan. These coffees are produced by second-generation indigenous farmers involved in sustainable farming transitions or from estates committed to organic cultivation. Through (beanroom), we aim to promote Taiwan’s sustainable coffee to the world.

A Heartfelt Gift to the World: Making Sustainable Actions a Daily Habit
(beanroom) is a coffee culture brand that emphasizes sensory experiences. We hope to use coffee beans as a medium to carry consumers' experiences and stories, conveying emotions to others, much like the brand's abbreviation "BR," symbolizing #Best Regards. The brand specifically selects coffee beans from sustainable farms or estates as a way to naturally achieve sustainability goals through everyday consumption, making today's sustainability concerns a normal part of life for the next generation.

Creating a Unique New Coffee Experience Space
As soon as consumers enter (beanroom)'s space, the first thing they see is a central island bar with a copper countertop. The outer surface of the island, featuring folded textures, is inspired by the burlap sacks used for transporting raw beans, telling a hidden story. This design shifts the concept of "bean to bar" into a journey from the coffee-growing regions to the cup in the consumer’s hand. We hope consumers will enjoy hand-brewed coffee here, experience the diverse flavors of coffee, or even create their own unique coffee flavors. (beanroom) aims to break traditional distinctions between retail, dining, and workshops, integrating different functions to create a new type of coffee experience brand through spatial and multifaceted applications.

 

(beanroom) Brand Milestones

2023.07: The location for the brand's first store was confirmed, nestled in the alleys of Taipei’s East District.

2023.11: Collaborated with "Waterphase Design" to complete the store's spatial design and began renovations.

2024.03: The first phase of the Taipei store's renovation was completed, with nearly a hundred influential figures from various fields invited to experience the coffee flavors.

2024.06: The (beanroom) Taipei store officially opened.
