Region Story
Kaduo Baki Mountain Workshop in Ren’ai Township, Taiwan, is run by Bunun tribe member Gao Jinshui, who promotes local coffee cultivation. Coffee is grown at altitudes of 700 to 1,100 meters in misty conditions. The estate, named "Kaduo" after the Thao word for "dugout canoe," uses natural farming and high-mountain spring water for irrigation. It has won multiple awards, including Gold and Excellence prizes. The farm produces both washed and sun-dried beans and collaborates to create unique fermented beans like "Osmanthus Iced Plum."
